Our impact
PRIM is working with state-owned enterprises and the Government to introduce coal replacement technologies with the aim of improving the efficiency of existing coal-fired power plants so as to reduce GHG emissions, and support Vietnam in meeting its COP26 commitments. Ultimately, this technology will improve the financial performance of state-owned power plants and finance their transition to renewable sources of energy.

The project aims cut emissions by at least 30%, cut NOx by 70%, and SOx by 50%, while creating cost saving of 5% or more.
