PRIM is working with Vietnamese power producers to accelerate their  transition away from coal through the development and implementation of a coal replacement mechanism tailored to meet Vietnam's COP26 commitments.

Through its leadership position in high-profile advocacy groups, PRIM provides incisive research, legal analysis, and position papers to drive industry concensus and foster increased private sector involvement in Vietnam's energy transition.

PRIM contributes to expedite Vietnam's transition to sustainable energy. Key activities included the creation of a comprehensive report analyzing how Vietnam can finance its energy transition. Additionally, we organize a workshop featuring presentations from our team and a representative from the World Bank.

PRIM is actively working to unlock the billions of dollars of investment required to develop Vietnam's offshore wind industry by creating the frameworks and analysis to develop a bankable PPA and offshore wind projects.

PRIM is leading efforts to reduce CO2, NOx, and SOx emissions in Vietnamese coal plants while unlocking free cashflow to finance Vietnamese SOE's transition to large scale renewable energy.

PRIM has effectively assisted its clients in their quest to design more eco-friendly and energy-efficient buildings. Their portfolio includes one of Vietnam's inaugural Gold LEED-certified buildings, along with various award-winning public and industrial facilities.

PRIM acted as a consultant for the commercial feasibility of integrating wind turbine farms, both onshore and offshore, into Vietnam's national grid. Their role encompassed conducting feasibility studies, designing, procuring, supplying, installing, and managing the construction of 24MW of onshore wind energy projects.

PRIM collaborated directly with the Can Tho Central People's Committee to create protocols and training programs. These initiatives were aimed at enhancing the city's ability to develop the necessary technical, operational, and policy frameworks to boost planning capabilities within government institutions.

In response to the Mekong region's vulnerability to rising sea levels and the unreliability of electric pumps used by local farmers, PRIM devised an innovative solar solution. This initiative ensures that Vietnam's most underserved communities maintain access to clean water.

PRIM and its 501c foundation, in collaboration with the Provincial "Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations," donated solar systems to remote households in Vietnam's rural provinces, focusing on those off the grid or in difficult social conditions, especially with school children.

PRIM hepled to increase rural hygienic and environmental sanitation coverage in remote ethnic minority communes across 21 mountainous provinces in north-western and central Vietnam.

PRIM helped the Mekong region enhance its urban water supply, wastewater treatment, drainage systems, and infrastructure through comprehensive services that included planning, design, procurement, evaluation, supervision, and customized operational training.
